" MY HERO "
I can't remember a time that I have felt more transparent and open than today as I'm greatly realizing what a major change we are facing, it's just a little overwhelming.
I'm grateful for God's blessings to us personally as Robert is continuing in his job assignment in Victoria, TX but for the future of TLCM there is alot of questions going on in my spirit since my job was one of the major resources we were using to fund the ministry.
In my heart my vision is still strong and clear but in my flesh I'm tired of constantly fighting this battle of faith. It is most definately a FAITH walk and I'm always going to God for answers and provision that I know I myself cannot provide.
Proverbs 3:1-10
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.
Let Love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.
Do Not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil, this will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
Honor the Lord with your wealth, and the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing and your vats will brim over with new wine.
" Put Your Trust In God "
So easy to say and yet here I am once again asking God to help me and even though I have given my all to support and grow this vision of " reaching a harvest " now I am once again tested in my trust that He has it all under control.
Have you ever been there?
Do you know what it's like to have great needs and not know where the answer is going to come from?
Constant Trust in God is not easy to find:
There are times when our faith is strong and it seems trust in God is so easy to latch on to, but then there are those times when its seems we struggle with just letting it go and giving it all to Him and knowing in our hearts that He won't fail us.
Sometimes we have to allow our trust in God to push us into walking by faith, and in doing so we have to push ourselves into actions of faith by honoring God with all that we have available now, which sometimes is hard to do but it will thrust us into actions that will teach us to walk by faith.
Many Christians today in the times in which we live say that they trust God, but when the true times of testing come we end up asking ourselves; are we trusting in God or are we trusting in ourself and our own abilities?
Isaiah 29:13
The Lord says; These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.
Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder, the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.
I am reminded once again today that no matter how we feel that we have it all figured out, in the end it all goes back to dependency on our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We all love to show our faith as being strong and never being tested but don't you think that it's time we all become transparent with God, for it's in these times that God can release to us the greatest refreshing.
Isaiah 55
Say there! Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink—even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine and milk—it’s all free! 2 Why spend your money on food that doesn’t give you strength? Why pay for groceries that do you no good? Listen and I’ll tell you where to get good food that fattens up the soul!
3 Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, for the life of your soul is at stake. I am ready to make an everlasting covenant with you, to give you all the unfailing mercies and love that I had for King David.[a] 4 He proved my power by conquering foreign nations.[b] 5 You also will command the nations, and they will come running to obey, not because of your own power or virtue, but because I, the Lord your God, have glorified you.
6 Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call upon him now while he is near. 7 Let men cast off their wicked deeds; let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy upon them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon! 8 This plan of mine is not what you would work out, neither are my thoughts the same as yours! 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours, and my thoughts than yours.
10 As the rain and snow come down from heaven and stay upon the ground to water the earth, and cause the grain to grow and to produce seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry, 11 so also is my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It shall accomplish all I want it to and prosper everywhere I send it. 12 You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills, the trees of the field—all the world around you—will rejoice. 13 Where once were thorns, fir trees will grow; where briars grew, the myrtle trees will sprout up. This miracle will make the Lord’s name very great and be an everlasting sign of God’s power and love.
Selah!!!
I don't know about you but I am certainly encouraged today that no matter how many questions we have or how much uncertainty we may feel about our future, one thing is for sure, when we are in our times of testing, let us learn to put our faith into action by doing and giving of ourselves and not only in lip service to our God, but in our actions of thrusting our faith forward everyday and our God who is faithful will reward us according to His word and His promises to us.
Sometimes we are selfish in our service to God because we want God to bless us first then we will take that blessing and allow it to strengthen our faith when it reality it is suppose to work the opposite, let's put our faith into action by allowing our trust in God to push us into actions of faith which will push us into the action of also moving forward even before we see the next step laid out in front of us.
Yes, we all get weary of the constant struggle of life, and sometimes not knowing the next direction we should go in, but let us keep striving for that CONSTANT TRUST in God knowing that HE IS WITH US NO MATTER WHERE WE ARE OR WHAT STRUGGLES WE MAY BE FACING.
