As I sit here today trying very hard to put into words the message that God has laid heavily upon my heart, I am at a loss to put into words, the magnitude of heavyness that is trying to overcome the children of God, and not only God's children, but an even greater magnitude of those that are lost in sin and darkness and bound with chains from the pits of hell, those Christ himself died and went to the cross that they may be set free.

Definition of the word:  " CHAIN "

3. chains.

1. shackles or fetters:
   to place a prisoner in chains.
2. bondage; servitude:
   to live one's life in chains.



  In Luke Chapter 8, Jesus demonstrated His power to break any and all chains of the enemy.

²⁶ And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.

²⁷ And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

²⁸ When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.

²⁹ (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

³⁰ And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

³¹ And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.

³² And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.

³³ Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.

Again in Acts chapter 12;

⁵ Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

⁶ And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

⁷ And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

⁸ And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

⁹ And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

¹⁰ When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

¹¹ And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

¹² And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

¹³ And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

¹⁴ And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

¹⁵ And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.

¹⁶ But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.

And in Acts chapter 16:25

²⁵ And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

²⁶ And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Selah!!!



 Today many people whether christian or non-christian are bound with many chains and fetters that unlike these are not seen with the natural eye.

You may be bound by sin, doing things you know are taking you down a path to destruction.  You know the things you are doing is wrong but like a heavy weighted chain that binds you to that sin, you are bound and cannot free yourself.

There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains, Because they had rebelled against the words of God And spurned the counsel of the Most High. Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was none to help.

Selah!

We can rebel against the Holy Spirit Of God who draws us to repentance, and desire to walk in our own ways, not desiring to seek God's plan and purpose for our life, until God for a season will let us continue down the path we have chosen until we have reached a place of despair.

Lamentations 3:7



Can I just tell you today that it is not His desire to leave you their,

for Jesus is " The Chain Breaker " !!!



Jesus said in Mathew 11:28:

²⁸ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Just as He had brought deliverance to the demoniac, and broke the chains of Peter, and set free Paul and Silas, He is still 

" The Chain Breaker ". 

He is still willing and able to break every chain that binds you in your life whether it be sin, sickness, poverty, depression, maybe today you just feel lost and alone, surrounded by mountains of obstacles that you can see no way around, or through...

Can I tell you that you are not alone today....Jesus knows right where you are, standing with an outstretched hand...willing and able to set you free and put your life on a path to freedom and blessings that only He can give.

Reach back to Him today.

Isaiah 52:2 says:

Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; Loose yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Isaiah 58:6-10

"Is this not the fast which I choose, To loosen the bonds of wickedness, To undo the bands of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free And break every yoke? "Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry And bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh? "Then your light will break out like the dawn, And your recovery will speedily spring forth; And your righteousness will go before you; The glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.



JESUS CHRIST HAS COME NOW TO SET YOU FREE!!!

If God is calling you to a greater purpose and destiny in your life and you just feel like the enemy has attacked you from all sides, and you feel bound and stuck where you are and it seems like no matter what you do, you cannot seem to move forward....Jesus is the " Chain Breaker "

He is the hope in front of you that will draw you into a place with Him where you can be steadfast and unmoveable!!!

Break through the doubt and fear that the enemy has used to hold you back, and reach out in Faith and call on the name of The Lord.....

He is listening for your call today....

Psalm 116:16

O LORD, surely I am Your servant, I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid, You have loosed my bonds.



 Just call on Him today!!! Reach out to a God who will not fail you.

No matter what your situation or circumstance may look like, He can turn it around for you.

Dare to trust Him....Dare to take Him at His Word today...and you will see the chains fall to the ground, and feel the freedom of His great love and mercy envelope you, and change your life forever.
