Hosea Chapter 1-3
I hope you have taken the time to listen to the recorded message above. This message is a type and shadow of God's love and relationship with Israel, and as well today we are relating it to God's love and relationship to Christians in general with a special focus on The United States Of America.
There is a prophetic call going out from the very throne room of God, for many who have wondered away from the protection of a merciful and loving savior.
And as portrayed in the message above, the love and protection and provision from Hosea was there all the time but Gomer chose to walk in her own path which eventually led to the condition Hosea found her in chapter 3.
Can I tell you today that there are many today who call themselves christians, but they are making decisions in the lifestyle in which they live that is bringing a curse upon them personally and we in America are bringing a curse upon our nation for we have gone astray from the commandments of our God.
In Hosea chapter 13 God's anger is kindled against His elect seed and promises impending judgement.
His word tells us that the wages of sin in death but the gift of God is eternal life.
Jesus told the women who was caught in adultery, whom was on the verge of being stoned by the religious sect of that day, where art thine accusers? She said I have none Lord? He said neither do I condemn thee, GO AND SIN NO MORE.
And here is the key take away, just like in this scripture as a type and shadow of Christ, mercy was extended but not deserved.
Over and over again God extends his mercy to us but what we do not understand is that when we continue to walk in our sinful ways we open ourselves up to a cursed life.
And yet a majority of christians today think that they can continue to live in ungodly lifestyles and allow other things in their life to become their idol and separate them from God.
2 Chronicles 7: 14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
17 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;
18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.
19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;
20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.
21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

Hosea 14
14 O israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Selah!!!
Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments.
Yes, just like Hosea, Jesus has paid the price for our forgiveness and freedom and He is standing before us still today offering His mercy and forgiveness and a freedom that will offer us a place in the house of The Lord forever.
But just as Gomer had to make a decision that day to either except Hosea's mercy and choose to return back to His provision for her and stay under His covering, so must we dear children of the Most High choose to forsake our idols and sins that so easily beset us and fall back in love with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and seek to please Him above all else.
The continuation of sin among us and in our nation will ultimately bring us to a place of bondage and destruction unless we repent.
This is a prophetic call oh wondering children of God,
He is calling out to your heart today...
I've Come To Take You Home......
He's reaching for you now....
How will you love Him back for all the mercy and grace He has shown to you?
How will you show Him your great Love in return.
He's already shown His Love, He gave His Life on the cross that you can be His child.
And He loves you with a never ending love who's mercy endureth forever !!!!
