Genesis 45: 7,

AS the story of Joseph unfolds Joseph says to his family:

And God sent me before you to preserve you a place of  posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

Now if you read back you see all the heartache that Joseph endured, first he was forsaken by those closest to him, his own brothers threw him in a pit and desired to kill him, but sold him  into

slavery instead, then they lied to their father and told him Joseph was dead.

Joseph then worked as a slave for Potipher, and 

did very well and made a name for himself,

only to be knocked down again as he was accused

falsely by Potiphers wife for something he did not do and was thrown into prison.

But finally through the devine plan of God, Joseph

whose gifts and annointing made a place for him

exactly where God wanted him to be, for such a

time, to save his people.

Now, let's look at this a different way.  How would

Joseph have felt if his father and brothers had refused him and remained at home starving in the

famine, when he had gone through all the pain and

heartache and endured so much so that they

could share the bountiful blessings he had at his disposal.

Would he not have been grieved far more deeply

than over all the unjust actions that had been done to him.

God has a plan for you and me, He has sent His

Son Jesus , who paid a great price for us to

have salvation, healing, deliverance and great

blessings upon this earth and in heaven.

The story below was sent to me by Pastor Enos Khamala and as you read it today I hope

it speaks to you along with this word...........

" Come To Me, Says the Lord, All of you who

are burdened and Heavy Laiden, and I will

give you rest.   For my yoke is easy and my burden

is light.

Just Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Today,  Many times instead of running to Him when we face

failures and disappointments,  alot of us run

away allowing our failures to consume us,

when just as Joseph did we must look beyond

our pain and understand that we must believe

in God and trust Him in His plan for our lives.

It's not too late, to reach back and recieve

His outstretched hand....

 

Here's the story:

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
'I don't believe that God exists.'
'Why do you say that?' asked the customer. 'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.'
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkept. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
'You know what? Barbers do not exist.'
'How can you say that?' asked the surprised barber.
'I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!'
'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.'
'Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me.'
'Exactly!' affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.

You see God does have a plan for each and every

one of us, but His plan for our lives becomes

void when we choose to lead our own destiny and

do not turn to Him  for His Love and Guidance.

His Word speaks to us to seek Him first and all

these other things will be added to us......

Have you sought God for His perfect will in your

life?    Have you asked Him to reveal HIs purpose

and Plan for you?

Look to Him today and recieve strength and courage in trusting Him with your future,

That does not mean you won't have heartaches

and disappointments, you will, even as Joseph

did, but it does mean that you can certainly 

 Trust in Jesus to bring you out on top!

 

Remember it is His hands that are making you right now what He wants you to be...................
