" Shannon's Song "

Don't weep for me when I am gone

for now my eyes behold His throne.

The worries and troubles of yesterday, just disappeared when I saw His face.

My feet now stand on streets of gold, for just one piece you work til your old.

The precious stones my eyes behold, the peace, the joy, cannot be told.

No more sorrow, heartache, or pain, no tears to fall, my pillow to stain.

My heart has found it's perfect peace, in the loving eyes of Jesus my soul has been released.

Don't wish me back to that awful place, where you'll toil and struggle your life away, holding on to failures of yesterday.

Storing your treasures that pass away, Oh I wish you could see the things that stay.

Like loving and giving, and Christ-like living.

His word to hide deep in your heart, His hand and your hand to never part.

For don't you see He's all you need, it's all in Him when His face you see.

Your fears and sorrows just melt away into perfect peace for everyday.

All your heart longs for " NOW " I've recieved, So PLEASE!, So PLEASE! DON'T WEEP FOR ME.

In Loving Memory of Shannon Bolin who was killed by a drunk driver at the age of 26 leaving behind an 8 year old daughter. 

In Memory of Me was written for Haleigh, Shannon's daughter who was the light of her life.

                             In memory of me,

 I wish you could see  

The way my life would be.

There are  so many ways,

I would change my days,

If I could see your face,

 And feel your warm embrace,

 I’d Greet you with a kiss,

 not one moment would I miss.

And Oh! Just to  say,

words to you every day.

 I’d tell you make it count,

  And always live the way,

 To touch another’s life

  do always what is right.

 God’s guidance from above,

 will fill your heart with love.

For that is what is true,

 and I would give to you,

 A spirit that is strong.

 And  teach you everyday,

 in a true and loving way.

 That belief is what you need,

in God’s word you can receive,

Instruction for your heart,

  His strength to you impart,

My darling can you see,

  I’d be a whole new me.  

I say these words today,

 to help you find your way,

On life’s road you will find,

   not everyone is kind,

 and mountains we must climb.

  And if you  lose your way,

My darling let me say,

   Hold tightly to His hand,

 He’ll guide you through this land,

 and even when you fall,

 If on His name you call,

 He’ll reach down to you with Love,

 And answer from above.

You see from where I am,

 I know the masters hand, 

He speaks, the waters part,

 He’s speaking  to your heart,

He’ll make your way so clear,

 and you will feel him near.

Yes these words I’d say,

 if I were there today.

  But I’ve sent you from above,

 the perfect gift, His love,

 And that is all you need

Until my face you see.

  And one day my sweetheart,

 we’ll never be apart.

 A glad reunion day,

  all of time for us to stay,

   your hand again in mine,

  I’ll Hold you again, my little sunshine.   

In memory of Shannon's profound love for kids, The Last Call Ministries is supporting St. Judes and many other outreach projects in honour of 

Shannon Sheree Bolin. 

She was a great and dear friend to me and above all she is truly MISSED !!!
